Flex Training?
Bill asked the question the other day and it dawned on me that it would really behoove ESRI to provide training for their Flex and Silverlight API’s. They have done an excellent job putting together the backend achitecture for both frameworks so why not train their users on how to properly use them? I for one, have used the Sample Flex Viewer on several occasions but there is still sooo much that I don’t know about it or what it can do. So, I want to ask the general public what they would want to learn more about in regards to the ESRI Flex Framework. Would you want instructor lead training or would an online tutorial work for you? Are you more interested in how to code in Actionscript or do you really just need to know how to implement all the bells and whistles for the framework. What about the Sample Flex Viewer? Would you like a training class that is designed to demonstrate specifically how to extend that? There are a ton of options here and I am very interested to learn what other people are doing with this technology and what they might need to make the most of it. Please feel free to post a comment on what you would want to see from ESRI in a Flex training class!
